Pat White

Pat White is the co-founder and CEO of Bitwave, a software platform that provides cryptocurrency accounting, tax tracking, bookkeeping, DeFi ROI monitoring, and crypto AR/AP services for enterprise businesses.

With over ten years of experience building enterprise software at companies such as Intuit, Microsoft, Five9, and Fortify Software (now HP Security). In 2009, Pat launched Ally Software, an enterprise software consulting firm, which he ran for three years before creating Synata, an enterprise search engine in 2012. In 2016, Synata was acquired by Cisco.

Pat has contributed code to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and several other cryptocurrency projects. He is a co-host of The DeFi Daily podcast and a graduate of the University of Southern California.o

Amy Kalnoki

Co-Founder + COO

Amy is a serial entrepreneur and technology industry veteran with expertise in enterprise software sales, accounting, and cryptocurrencies.

In 2018, she co-founded Bitwave, a software platform that provides cryptocurrency accounting, tax tracking, bookkeeping, DeFi ROI monitoring, and crypto AR/AP services for enterprise businesses. Before this, she co-founded Synata, an enterprise search engine that was acquired by Cisco in 2016.

She is passionate about cryptocurrency and the potential for blockchain technology to change the world.

Mackenzie Patel

CEO + Partner

Mackenzie Patel is a CPA and crypto accountant. She got her start leading crypto revenue accounting at Figment, a validator on over 60 proof of stake networks (Ethereum included!).

She also works part-time as an accountant for dOrg, a web3 blockchain development DAO. Mackenzie and her partner Courtney are launching Hash Basis CPA in 2023.

Hash Basis a full-service, crypto native accounting firm that will help clients wrangle and account for their crypto activity properly. Mackenzie lives in San Francisco and loves herbal tea, especially turmeric ginger and valerian dream.

Mandi Simpson

Accounting Advisory Partner

Mandi is the leader of the accounting advisory team at Crowe. She is based in Atlanta and has been serving clients with Crowe since 2004. She and her team assist companies with adopting new accounting standards, complex accounting and reporting requirements, strategic transactions, and operational improvements.

She has served as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). At the OCC, she spent much of her time on the agency's current expected credit losses (CECL) initiatives, including liaising with standard setters, developing and delivering examiner CECL training, and working across the OCC to develop agency and interagency policies and positions.

Devin is a seasoned professional with a background in accounting and a passion for entrepreneurship.

He has a proven track record in building and scaling high-growth companies and has extensive experience in the digital asset industry. He has been a part of several successful ventures, including founding a technology marketplace in the real estate sector and serving as COO of RADAR, where they developed category-defining products in the DeFi space before selling to Core Scientific and listing on NASDAQ. He has also attracted venture capital investment from prestigious investors and been part of successful acquisitions. His expertise lies in business operations, particularly in the digital asset industry, and he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience through mentorship and advising early-stage companies.

At Bitwave, Devin is responsible for helping to unlock digital assets for enterprise finance. The goal of the company is to provide financial solutions to enable companies to succeed in a world of cryptocurrency. Bitwave has taxation and accounting capabilities, as well as expertise in workflow and process management, which allows it to provide its users with the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for their digital asset financial stack.

As Chief Strategy Officer at Bitwave, Devin is responsible for investor relations, positioning, and other strategic initiatives. This involves working with executives and senior stakeholders to create financial strategies that support the company's long-term growth objectives. He is also responsible for creating data-driven strategies that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
